Diagnostic Specific Stretches

I cannot over emphasize how important it is to properly stretch and rehabilite injury. Restoration of full range of motion is critical to regain full and optimal function. Symmetry in the length of muscle groups from side to side is also pivotal in full functional recovery.

Stretch two times per day, morning and night. Five repetitions, 10 seconds end range. Look to symmetry when doing reps. Assess length and range of motion. If one side is more tight or short, do 2 to 3 reps more on that side until balance from side to side is met. With optimal muscle symmetry, your joint care will be more effective.
